The gathering you've been picturing deserves a space that feels like it's yours.
A three-floor venue in Hudson, NY built for celebrations that don't fit in the back room of a restaurant. Rehearsal dinners, welcome cocktails, post-wedding brunches, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, bridal & baby showers, and engagement parties. Two hours from Manhattan. Lounge seating, open catering kitchen, wood burning fireplace, a rooftop terrace—and the freedom of a space that's yours while you’re with us.
Built for the milestones worth remembering.
A note on weddings. We don't host weddings themselves, but we're a favorite for the events surrounding one. Our team is experienced at partnering with wedding planners to make the non-wedding moments just as memorable as the main event.

What makes a night here feel like it’s actually yours?
A space that’s yours. No shared walls with other diners. No "we'll need the table back by 10pm." No fixed menu because the kitchen only knows three entrées. For the night, the space belongs to you and your guests.
A kitchen that says yes. Our second floor has a commercial-grade demonstration and catering kitchen. Hire any caterer you prefer, host a chef-led dinner, run a cocktail-making class as a welcome event, or build a hands-on food experience into the night—not just serve what a venue caterer has on the menu.
A team that knows how to host. We've partnered with wedding planners, party planners, and families hosting on their own. We can recommend caterers, florists, photographers, musicians, and lodging partners we trust; or work seamlessly with vendors you've already chosen.
Character that photographs itself. Originally a 1940s brick warehouse, reimagined over five years to preserve the exposed brick and industrial bones while flooding in natural light. The building does half the décor work for you—which means your florist, lighting designer, and photographer have a canvas instead of a blank box.
A rooftop that becomes the memory. 800 sq ft of flexible interior opening onto an 1,100 sq ft green roof terrace with a pizza oven, grill, and views of Hudson and the Catskill Mountains. Cocktail hour at sunset, pizza at midnight—this is the moment people post about the next morning.
Flexibility across three floors. Start with cocktails on one floor, move to dinner on another, open up a dance floor or a dessert bar on a third. Your evening has a sense of progression instead of everyone stuck in one room for six hours.

2nd Floor | The Hub
2,160 sq ft. Capacity: 125 standing, 50 seated for dinner, 80 seated theater style. A spacious lounge, library, secret bar, wood burning fireplace, and a commercial-grade demonstration and catering kitchen make this a one-of-a-kind space that has it all. Best for: seated rehearsal dinners, bridal & baby showers, intimate milestone celebrations, cooking-classes, welcome cocktails, and the kind of evening where people linger. Please note: this is a rendering of the 2nd floor—completion scheduled July 2026.
3rd Floor | The Skydeck

Hudson is part of the weekend your guests will remember.
Proximity to Amtrak means your guests can skip rental cars and parking headaches, but still have access to a rich arts, food and outdoor scene. Walkable from a range of boutique hotels (we'll share our favorites), farm-to-table restaurants, specialty coffee shops, and Warren Street's antique and gallery corridor. Out-of-town guests get a full weekend's worth of things to do—not just a Friday-night rehearsal dinner and a hotel lobby.

Your event funds something bigger.
Every corporate booking at The Spark Building helps us cover the cost of building operations and staff that enable us to offer free community workshops, youth apprenticeships, and programs for Hudson and surrounding area residents.
